This winter, Lindsey, Sami, and I visited Casey [at the cemetery]. We brought along some flowers and a candle to light while we stayed with her. It was very windy and very cold out. After many attempts to light the candle, the flame finally stayed. It was strange because the wind was kicking up but that candle sitting next to her stone wouldn't go out. After a little while, the candle blew out mysteriously. The weird thing about it was the wind had stopped blowing and everything was so quiet when the candle went out. We believe that Casey was there with us, but couldn't stay too long. The candle, we feel, was a sign from her. We miss you Casey. We love you, always

About a week before Amber's 21st Birthday, I had a dream that a bunch of us were out at the bar celebrating Amber's birthday. But, when I looked around to see where Amber was, I saw that she was sitting in the corner crying. I went over to see if she was alright and she told me that she was so upset that Casey wasn't there to celebrate with her and that she missed her so much. I then looked over and saw that Casey was standing right next to me.Casey then told me to let Amber know that she was there and that everything was going to be ok and she wanted Amber to have a good time.

The next day I was at work and decided to leave Amber a face-book comment. At first I felt funny telling her about the dream but then I changed my mind. After I told her about my dream she said "omg sami i had the same dream and that you were comforting me!"

It was this dream that showed me that Casey is always with us.

Casey and I were in the 7th grade and I had Casey over my house one Saturday. It was after the movie, "Bring It On" came out and for something to do we decided to video tape ourselves doing the opening cheer. In the opening scene of the movie, each cheerleader pops up and introduces themselves with a peppy little line. We already knew the song because we had seen it so many times, so when we decided to do the cheer, Casey just shined and knew how to do every character. I couldn't do the cheer because Casey had me laughing so hard with all of the characters and the different voices that she had for them.
