Never Stopped Smiling

Unfortunately, I did not have the honor of knowing Casey personally, but my brother, Joe had classes with her in high school and said that he “never saw her stop smiling.” This year, as many people on this site may know, Springfield High School is performing The Laramie Project and having a special “Pink Performance” in honor of Casey.

About Casey Feldman

Casey Feldman, 21, of Springfield, Pennsylvania, a senior at Fordham University Lincoln Center and an award-winning student journalist, was killed by a distracted driver on July 17, 2009 in Ocean City, N.J. She was 3/4 of the way across the street in a crosswalk during daylight hours when the driver failed to stop at the stop sign. He was looking down, reaching for his GPS.
