Casey was by far one of nicest, caring girls I have ever met….Every time I hung out in 4A, 8B, and 9M I enjoyed being around Casey and always found myself jealous of the amount of love shared between her and all of her many many friends.
I remember going together freshman year to the battered womens shelter to volunteer and as we walked into the room, both the children and the employees lit up and were delighted to see her. Over the years I noticed that that same reception followed Casey wherever she went.
I looked forward to reading her articles whenever a new Observer came out. She was such a trustworthy good soul that I found myself confiding many personal things to her for the amazing stories she covered.
Casey was an all around wonderful girl…
