….. Although we were not very close in the later years of high school, I (and many of us) have known Casey since elementary school and I would consider her a friend. I remember childhood birthday part…ies at her house and hanging out there on halloween- maybe freshmen year, when she was a barbie- being a pretty blonde this fit. Casey was such an intelligent, sweet and kind girl. I can remember her laugh and quick pace of speech- she had a lot to say and many people to listen to her. Casey was one of those in our class that had many friends and although had a close group, did not hesitate to keep up with those that she knew from years past. Having classes with Casey throughout school was a pleasure. Her humor and intelligence was certainly something I will always remember…. We should rejoice in having her in our lives, though too briefly.
