I met Casey my freshman year of high school in Odd Couple. She was always the sweetest person, onstage and off. I remember her being one of the first people who talked to me in STW. She’s probably the reason I have so many friends in the program.
The one specific memory I have though comes from The Mousetrap. The seniors had just finished singing “Defying Gravity” before the final performance and we were about to go out to the circle (like we do before every show). We stopped though, when we noticed Casey crying. She said she was so happy being with everyone in the cast, and was just so glad to act and have fun with ua all. It wasn’t long before we were all crying too. Casey could just make us see how lucky we all were.
